Scholarship Info Changes made in 2023
Donations given by Alumni have provided SIX scholarships in the amount of $500 each to graduating seniors. Thanks to your donations, we have been able to provide these six scholarships for several years, helping more graduating seniors reach their career goals.

The Homecoming Committee selects winners using the following criteria:
* Alumni family - parents/ multiple generations
* 3.0 GPA or higher
* Kansas or area school within 3 hours to keep funding in the area
* Character of candidate
* Financial need - including other scholarships received
With continued donations, we plan to award these scholarships each year. We hope you support our Seniors so we can continue to increase the number of scholarships we can provide. You can donate electronically, by mail or at the Homecoming in May. We appreciate your support!

The Alumni Committee made some needed changes to the By-Laws and to the Homecoming event. The biggest By-Law change is that the Alumni Committee will be making all the decisions for the Association, including selecting the officers. This was the main objective of the business meeting, but it was not an effective way to make nominations and vote. A member must be on the Committee for at least three years before being selected to an office to ensure continuity.
To help the Homeoming be more of a reunion, there will be NO business meeting to interrupt the festivities.

Attention Alumni Veterans
Alumni Veteran Wall of Honor Submission Forms can be obtained in three ways:

The school district wants to recognize our Alumni Veterans by proudly displaying their information on the
Wall of Honor, which is located in the main hallway of the high school. They are asking the community to assist in recognizing those Alumni who have chosen to serve our country, by completing a submission form. Their photo, military branch & rank will be shown, along with the Caney class they were a member of. An example is shown on this page. There is NO COST to submit an application.
